Get ready for a burst of color and springtime joy! The third annual Timbuk Farms Tulip Festival in Granville, Central Ohio has now arrived! The Tulip Festival begins on April 17th and runs for about three weeks with its end date depending on how long the blooms last.
People love this special springtime event, and Columbus Navigator dubbed our festival as “Ohio’s most colorful spring adventure.” Indeed, it is one of the best spring events in central Ohio.
The Tulip Festival is a fun, wholesome experience for the whole family and is a great way to start spring off right. There is so much to do! So, here is your guide to the festival so you don’t miss out on anything.
Thousands of Flowers
We have over 500,000 tulips with vibrant colors across four acres as well as over 50,000 daffodils. Frolic through the fields of these popular spring flowers and take swoon-worthy family portraits. Well-behaved furry family members are welcome! Our flowers also make beautiful backdrops for graduation photos, engagement photos, and spring Instagram photos (check out our new butterfly backdrop!) as well as close-up, artsy photos.

U-Pick Flowers
Enjoy our flower fields even longer by bringing home some flowers for your family! Our U-pick flower activity means that you get to pick your own Timbuk tulips and add some spring color to your home. This is a fun spring activity for the whole family. Create your best spring bouquet!
Family-Friendly Fun
The festival has a variety of activities to keep everyone entertained. We have kids rides, games, photo opportunities, and very sweet (and very patient) petting goats. Nothing is more adorable than kids petting goats!
Beer Garden
Enjoy local drafts from Three Tigers Brewery and refreshing wine spritzers while you take in the Tulip Festival’s blooms. The proceeds support our friends at Center of Hope. So, every sip gives back to Ohio’s communities.
Food, Live Music, & Local Vendors
Check out our schedule for when we’ll have delicious food (tulips are always best enjoyed with full tummies!) live music, and local Ohio vendors.
Tulip Festival Open on the Weekdays
Enjoy a quieter and more relaxed atmosphere at the festival during the weekdays. In fact, visiting the festival during the weekdays is a great romantic date idea. The calmer weekday atmosphere at the festival is also great for visitors who want the spring fun without the crowds.
Timbuk Farms Garden Center
Our Dayton, Ohio, garden center is open and has healthy and locally-grown plants. You do NOT need a festival ticket to explore the garden center. You can just come on in and get the annuals, perennials (check out our perennial sale!), and gardening supplies that you need this spring. Our knowledgeable staff love helping customers, so come on by to meet them!
