Ranunculus make for beautiful cut flowers, and they add a dash of Alice in Wonderland to any Ohio garden.

Geraniums

Great Gift for: The Elegant Mom and the Colorful Mom

Geraniums are summertime classic flowers. They have kidney-shaped leaves that can look ruffled. They have flowers with a sweet scent, fragrant leaves, and come in solid colors or bi-color. Some of the most popular geranium colors are white, lilac, purple, pink, and red. Geraniums are good for window boxes and hanging baskets, and they add color to spring and summer gardens in Ohio.

Colocasia

Lavender can have a calming effect on the body and mind and can be made into a tea. So, lavender will likely appeal both to the mom who rarely loses her cool and to the mom who may be a bit frazzled (we’re looking at you new moms–be gentle with yourselves, please).

We also have bouquets of flowers if you want to stick to tradition. In fact, we want to give the kiddos a chance to show their love to their moms and mother figures. So, all kids 12 and under who buy their moms flowers from our garden center from May 1st to May 12th, 2024, will receive free admission to our Goat Fun Farm (regular admission $5). They’re only little for a little while. So, we want them to have kid-friendly fun as they show their sweet love to “Mom.”
